- Keep in mind that the color order in your yarn cake will start from the center and work its way out. Your first chosen color will be at the center of the cake, followed by the second color, and so on. The last chosen color will be on the outside of the cake.

3 ply:
- Length: 250m per 50g
- Recommended Hook Size: 1.5-3mm
- Weight Category: Fingering/Lace/0
4 ply:
- Length: 188m per 50g
- Recommended Hook Size: 2.5-3.5mm
- Weight Category: Sock/Superfine/1
The yarn cakes are plied not twisted. We added some beads to the centre pull to prevent the yarn from splitting whilst you are working with it. If you want to start your project with the outside colour first, just simply change the beads to the outside end of the yarn cake.
The colour changes are secured with tiny slip knots, which will be small enough to not be noticed in your finished work.
Design Your Own Yarn Cake
Yarn cakes over 500gr [3ply; 2750m (3007yd)+ and 4ply; 2250m 2460yd)+] will be made in multiple cakes. Each yarn cake will be marked, (i.e. 1/3, 2/3, 3/3) so you know which one to use first.
To care best for your finished product please:
- Wash cold
- Dry flat
- Do not wring
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not bleach
- Iron cool
